My setback. Clear coat and spray adhesive both have a clear top and my buddy helping with the painting didn't read the label. So back to square one with resanding real good new base coat and paint. FML

You're going to have to do some trimming on both high and low. I got most of my good info from SRTILLA and PMPN8EZ.
What about tinting them(I'm dying for somebody to test this so I can do it) ? I wanted to do it with mine, but the guy who built mine said it couldn't be done. I think he was lying though because I've applied the tinted paint to several different applications and never had any issues.

Re: Quad projectors

the lights are looking nice! the e55 shrouds are pretty small and may not look the best in the low beam spot.. maybe take a look at the shrouds available on theretrofitsource.com...$15 shipped per pair of the "value" kinds.

im having quads built and im having my retrofitter do e46r shrouds and theyre looking hot so far.

keep us posted!

edit: you doing quad lows or just quad high beams?

are you asking about whether they're bi-xenon's or not? if so, they are the morimoto's, so they are bi-xenon's.

Re: Quad projectors

no i know the minis are bix. just wondering if you were going to use them as such and have four low beams or just hook the ones on the inside up as high beams only.

I'm not sure how I'm going to run them yet. As of right now I'm leaning towards 4 low beams

I'd go with four low beams, because you can still have 2 low beams if you want and 4 high beams with that setup.

Install all four of them to be low beams, then run independent switches to your cabin that'll allow you to turn on only the low beam position headlights or only the high beam position headlights. Then, when your low beams are turned on in the WK, you'll have to turn on your low beams via the switch and you'll have the option to turn on the high beam position low beams as well. Then, if you want to use your high beams, you would use your high beam switch in the WK to turn those on. That's the way I did it anyways and it gives you all of the options to do whatever configuration you want later on down the road.

Re: Quad projectors

idk. some people really hate the 4 cutoffs especially since theyre at different heights. maybe have the inner low beams tied to a switch so you can decide to use when you want.

Re: Quad projectors

hey infantry what i did was run 1 switch to the cabin, it controls the relays for both inner projectors.
all the blades are connected to my high beam trigger/

so switch off normal I get 2 low beams
turn sw on i get 4 lo beams

hit the high i get full projector on however many are on....2 or 4.

i tried 4 around town and it may be legal but it just puts out TOO much light and it attracts WAY too much attention/ on the highway and such its all good. a simple switch push and im there. I use it in rural areas but NOT around town here.

i dont know about you but i dont want to be explaining to the COP about BIXENON on the side of a dark road somewhere

in CO you can have NO MORE than 4 forward lights headlights on at any time. so check your local laws before running 4 and hitting the fogs too. thats the same in MOST states; hence the no fogs wioth highs LAWs.

Finally finished painting and sanding everything. Clear coat applied now have to finish the wiring and fit the projectors. Also still unsure how I'm going to run it. Would like to run 2 to a switch so I can run 4 high/low if I want to. Don't know how tho. Any help would be appreciated
