Question, 2 inch lift, ride quality...

Hi,I have plans of buying the Rough Contry 2inch lift kit for my 2008 GC, I just want to lift it, cuz I do not like how low it looks factory. I'm not planing on doing any extreme offroad or nothing similar, just sand and some trails once or two times a month max. My question is, for any of you guys that have this kit installed or other 2 inch kit of better quality, how is the ride quality affected on the road? is there any difference good/bad?, also if someone has a picture of 2008 with stock rims and tires and a 2 inch lift, please post it.

thanks.

Re: Question, 2 inch lift, ride quality...

The Rough Counrty lift is a budget boost. It only consist of spacers. Your ride quality will not change with that lift.

If or when you replace the shocks and struts with that lift, the ride quality could start to change.

I have the OME ML Lift and the ride quality changed dramatically for the better for me. It's a stiffer ride. It ride like a real "Jeep". The OME coils and gas charged shocks and struts are what changed the ride quality dramatically.

If you like the stock ride quality, stick with the budget boost since you won't really do any wheeling.

If you're looking to change the ride quality like myself, I'd save a little more and get OME ML.
