Radar Detector Power Cord for 9500 ix

I just joined this forum tonight and would like to ask help. I just purchased a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited - HEMI. I want to install my Escort Passport 9500 ix using the Inviscord. Can anyone confirm:

1) if you did the same install tapping power and ground connection from the rear view mirror, and if so . . . .

2) which power cord part number did you use example, S01PL ?

3) what length - 12 inches ?

4) please advise which positions for power and ground did you select on back of rear view mirror ?

Thank you any help, this is my first post, so I hope I followed the rules correctly, if not I apologize.

Re: Radar Detector Power Cord for 9500 ix

this may help...scroll down for some pics of the fuse panel

Edit - I did not do the rear-view mirror...I used our fuse panel on the drivers side...I bought the cord off eBay for $12 IIRC and it added a mute button which I like
