ny450es is on a distinguished road
radiator drain valve

is the valve on the bottom driver side of the radiator a ball valve? it turns a quarter turn but none of the fluid drains out. i tried running a wire thru it with out success.

i think you may have to turn it in the opposite direction. When i changed my water pump i did a complete flush inclusing draining the radiator. It was about a full turn and it all drained out.

got it done...i was afraid to turn it a full turn because it didn't seem like it wanted to go by hand. i took a pair of pliers and it went a full turn. thanks

Does it turn CW or CCW as you look up at it from the back side?
