Radio bezel removal question

I'm getting the wood trim in my 08 Overland wrapped with CF fabric - I've removed the gear shift section, and now want to remove the radio/aircon bezel

Looking at the pic below, the aircon controls etc are attached to the bezel - can they be removed, so I can send the trim away and still use the controls? I cant tell from the pic!!

If not, can the car be used without the aircon controls etc?

TIA

Re: Radio bezel removal question

the HVAC controls are attached to the bezel but can be detatched. I'm not sure if the jeep will complain if you take all those controls off. If you want, just detatch the HVAC controls from the bezel and leave them plugged into the car.

the trim is what holds those controls in place, so im not sure how fun it'll be having them just sitting there attached by wires....

Re: Radio bezel removal question

couldn't you just put on the cf and trim around the controls with a exacto-knife?

Thats the answer I was hoping for, thanks!

I might have to use some tape or cable ties if anything looks like it might move around too much

I'm incompetent with things like this, so I'm sending the trim off for someone else to do it
