Re: Real MPG (2010)

I just did a 750 mile trip over the mountains, 2 days of city driving, and then back. Got 17 mpg overall in my stock 5.7 HEMI

My insurance on my 07 V8 is 50$ cheaper every 6mos than my 06 3.7l.

That's because the 07 is a newer vehicle

Re: Real MPG (2010)

If you are going WK, hemi is the only way to go. the Hemi gets similar mpg to the 4.7 and is a far better powerplant, plus there are numerous Hemi upgrades out there that make it much more responsive and improve mpg. I get 21 HWY now, but just 17 stock. What few pennies you same with a 3.7 at the pump are really not worth it if you compare the night and day difference in the driving experience.

Re: Real MPG (2010)

You need a 5 speed honda crv if you want good mpg.

I get 20ish hwy and 17 city with my 2008 4.7 v8.

Re: Real MPG (2010)

I'm from (NYC) the Bronx and commuting to Queens everyday I been averaging about 13.5-14 MPG per Tank fill up. I have to refill after around 225 Miles. 2008 WK 3.7L V6
I think my MPG sucks compared to others.

These guys don't live in a city. I live in Chicago and get similar but if I go out to where I used to live I can easy get 18. This truck hates stop and go.
