To run the exhaust thru the space it takes up under the jeep

Its actually perfectly flat, even more than the slight slope the trays create upfront in the plastic bottom insert. You get the most space upfront right behind the seatback where I needed it to move that sub around

I want to put my spare in the cargo area because it won't fit underneath anymore.

Re: Rear cargo space bottom

Where did you put your jack? are you just not going to carry one around? Mine is in a little compartment behind the passenger side rear seat..

I like this idea too. I carry bikes around back there and sometimes they hit the roof when you put them too close to the gate.. A few inches lower would be perfect

What is the floor held in with?

The floor is held in by its shape, its a perfect fit so has no where to go, it just lays there. The jack I relocated to one of the nooks below the rear seat, and the hardware for it below the front passenger seat

Re: Rear cargo space bottom

I meant the original floor, where are the bolts or rivets that you have to remove to do the task?

You pop off the rear interior skid pad thing, there's 2 bolts below it sticking up with nuts on them, take off the nuts, lift, and the whole thing slides out.

Re: Rear cargo space bottom

So I just went an removed by floor, and I liked the results. It is all back together now.... but I whipped up a couple quick sketches with paint to show what I want to do. Don't make fun of my crappy paint drawings lol.
