Recommendations for a paint shop in northern NJ

Coming close to finally buying the mopar body kit. I will do the install myself, but will need a paint shop to paint it. Just went somewhere today and they quoted over $800 just to paint!! no thanks!

Anyone have any recommendations??

that's a ridiculous price for just black, the cheapest color to paint lol. any body shop that paints them should turn out fine with that color because you can't mess up the color match. black is just black whether its a geo or a lambo . hope that helps

Hey,

I just went the same route you are considering. Check it out: http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php?t=20513

I paid just over $300 for paint. Also in balck. I bought the body kit from the dealer (about $600) and also had them paint it. They outsource the bodywork to a local bodyshop. It was this body shop that charged $300. Did you let whoever quoted you know that the kit will come primed already?

$300 is really not realistic for real world New Jersey pricing, unless your having it done at a Macco. $500 is more realistic.
