I just got a pair of tow hooks and I want to know how to remove the front bumper to install them. Is this going to be a hard job? Do I need any special tools? Thanks
I wish Chrysler would have installed them on all the 4x4s, because its stupid to not have them on a 4x4 especially a jeep!

sometimes NAPA's have the rivets and rivet guns. It doesnt use regular rivet guns either...you need a plastic rivet setter

You just have 2 plastic rivets on each side that hold the inner fender to the bumper. I used actual bolts and nuts when I put my bumper back on. It takes about 10 minutes to take the bumper off and 10 to put it back on.

You don't "need" the riveting tool. You can pull the pin on a new rivet with a pair of vise-grips and a box-end wrench. Just hold the rivet flush to the fender liner with the wrench and then pull back on the pin to expand the rivet behind the liner. That's basically all the rivet tool does.

It's an easy job, two hours TOPS to get it done. I think mine was off/on in about 45 total and that included figuring out the wrench/pliers trick for the rivets.
