Replacement Shock Recommendations 05 Limited 5.7L

Getting ready to replace the original shocks on the 05 Limited (61,000 mi).

Any recommendations on the following appreciated:

1. Mopar OEM's
2. KYB's
3. Monroe Reflex
4. Mopar Commander Shocks (XK)

Replaced my 01's with the Monroe Reflex's years back and they seem to have held up well over the years.

No off roading, 50/50 split on two lane and freeway driving.

Re: Replacement Shock Recommendations 05 Limited 5.7L

I didnt need to replace shocks on my old WK so I cant say from experience what I like but I can tell you that guys were happy with WK bilsteins. They raise the GC about a 3/8 of an inch I believe and from what I have heard, people like the ride.

I only have put in the SRT OEM shocks in, but the WK Bilsteins seem to be all the rave.

Also, I saw the KYB shocks, and they look cheap, IMO, i didnt ride in a car with them, but they dont look sturdy, and I didnt like that.

None of the above... go with the Bilstein's. You won't be disappointed.

Also for added handling improvements, get the SRT rear sway bar - cheap/easy to replace and also makes a world of difference.

Bilsteins....wk Bilsteins are nice...but the SRT Bilsteins are awesome. They will not raise or lower you and they were built for the WK. But for the money...the wk bilsteins are tons better than stock. They will raise you 3/8" I have had both on my Jeep.
