Hey guys,
I was just wondering if there is a difference in quality and fitment between the OEW and Factory Repo wheels? Are they hub-centric? Does anyone know how much they weigh?

Thanks,

Aaron

Just bought a set through OE wheels this morning. Hopefully I'll see them by the end of the week.

As a separate question....isn't there someone on here selling the vinyl inserts for the SRT reps?
Are the OEW wheels hub centric?

Thanks guys...I'm leaning towards the OEWs, for they come in polished. I didn't see FR offering polished, just chrome and painted. I have an Overland and don't have any chrome on my rig.

Does anyone know if a 285 40 R20 will fit within the wheel well? I want a slightly smaller diameter tire...

Nope...here are the ones I just got from OE Wheels...great quality

Yep...what's the worst that could have happened, right? Switch to chrome?

I like em'...thanks man..

Hey TJXJWJ,
How long did it take to get the wheels and how was the packing of the wheels?

Thanks

Only took about a week from the time I ordered them...and the packaging was very good. No damage on anything. This is what I came home to that day:

Each one had foam and cardboard protecting the wheel, tightly packed.

they are polished right? how do you like the tires? what size tires did you go with?
Yes...polished. They come clearcoated.

I've only had them mounted for a few days, but have managed a short highway trip and enough local driving to say that I'm very happy with the tires. Wet highway I haven't done yet....but don't expect any issues. They are quiet and smooth.

I went with 255-45 for size....I wanted to keep my overall diameter as close to stock as possible in case I need to ever run my spare, and to avoid any speedo issues.

Hey thanks man, I got a dark khaki jeep too, Should I go with polished or chrome. Yours looks great.

Here's the difference in shine factor...this is the rep in front of my stock chrome.

Chris, for you, I'd suggest chrome...only because you don't need to worry about road salt eating them and you've got chrome details on your Jeep already. Either would look great, but if you want to match your existing trim, chrome is the way to go. These reps don't give you the reflection like chrome does.

Ok, I Know this is and old thread, but it has a good question. And after 2 hours of searching threads I still don't have a good answer.

What is the exact weight of the SRT replica rims? Especially for the 20x9. I have found threads indicating that the 20x10 weighs 34lbs, but I'm not sure if that is for the OEM or the replica wheel? And no mention of the 20x9.

THanks

if milous has the correct srt wheel weights on his site.

stock srt front - 36.2 LBS
FR 20x9 - 35.9

stock srt rear - 37.6 LBS
FR 20x10 - 36.7 LBS

i have a freight scale in my garage and some extra FR wheels so i used a cardboard box to balance the wheels and then tared the scale and then measured each wheel.

So you weighed the FR wheels yourself. That's handy. The only way the stock wheels are heavier is if the replica wheels are an exact mold of the OEM wheels. That is, the cast wheels are less dense than the forged wheels, but exactly the same proportions with no extra metal reinforcement added. Why do you call them FR?
