I've had mine through 4 PA winters so far and the undercarriage still looks great, I havnt sprayed it with anything. I have very little if any rust and drive it all the time in salt during the winter but I have seen some WK's with some pretty bad looking rust under them.

I have a couple cans of rubberized undercoat I want to spray on the underside. Mines an 05 and there is a decent amount of rust areas under there. For things like the frame and axle i was thinking of sanding then useing a rust converter in a spray can then followed by some kind of enamel or rust inhibiting spray paint. Its getting colder out so time to do it now im thinking.

Picture was just taken last week when I was having the srt exhaust put on, I should of undercoated it while up on the lift. Wish I did, so something would of been done right that day at least unlike that jerk off doing a hack job on the exhaust install. I want to paint the rear differential cover a nice red, then the underside of the floor panning in the rubberized undercoat and the framing, axle and everything else in black. Oh, and the rear shocks yellow and blue like the Bilsteins are. Lol

Re: Running SRT chrome Rep rims in winter??

I got the idea to undercoat it from a guy at my office. We were out in the parkinglot a few weeks back and he was all excited about what his friend did for him, so I look under there and I swear everything was covered in the undercoating, even his calipers and inside of the rims had overspray all over it. I had to kindly pass when he offered for his friend to do mine for cheap, cuz i can see why it would be so cheap. Ha.

I know, I hear there's all hot blondes there and the BBQ is awesome. I really have no real reason to stick around here, and would be up for moving if I could find a good job there.
