What would i need to go from a standard stereo to the double din pioneer avic 920bt? What rear view camera will work with the avic 920bt?

All you need is the double din bezel. It's plug and play.

Any camera will work. They are universal.

I have a camera and an indash DVD player.

Re: Sat nav retro-fit??

Any aftermarket radio requires a wiring harness that can send out CAN commands. They are about $75 also you will need an antenna adapter at ~$15

When you buy aftermarket radios offline, they usually come with all that for free. Like sonicelectronx.com

Re: Sat nav retro-fit??

I would assume most companies do not include the $80 can interface. It is not your standard wiring harness, its a data module. They may however include the faceplate.

What factory Nav will work with a 07 Boston Acoustic system? or what would be needed to add a factory / aftermarket nav to the system?

If you go aftermarket and plan on keeping your factory amp you will need an adapter like this.

Plus the obvious nav bezel and DD adapter plate.

Factory nav: http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_nav.htm

JDM12,

Thanks for the links. Any idea of people that have used these? Any major issues?

Re: Sat nav retro-fit??

I think the mygig install is pretty seamless as long as you get a compatible unit.
these might be helpful.

I installed an aftermarket kenwood nav to my vehicle, without the premium stock system. It was the most cost effective for me and only needed a cheap adapter harness. edit- plus the nav bezel. good luck

Re: Sat nav retro-fit??

MyGig is a waste of money. You could buy the best aftermarket Nav unit with a bigger screen that money can buy for the price of the cheaply made MyGig.

Not worth it in my opinion.

There are a lot of features that aftermarket Navigation units offer.

Some of the top brands:

Pioneer
Kenwood
Alpine

You guys can add to this list if you want.
