Re: seafoam treatment

I am interested in doing this but I just changed my oil. Would it still be beneficial to put a can in the gas tank and another half in the vacuum line? Or should I just hold off another 6K and do them and half in the oil as well?

Re: seafoam treatment

If it was me, I would hold off to do it all at once. But it won't hurt just doing in the vacuum line and tank.

Re: seafoam treatment

Wait do it all on your next oil change, I did it in the oil , tank and brake vacuum line I did not get much smoke. I ran it for 300 miles in oil I got lots of crap coming out.

Re: seafoam treatment

As far as the vac line goes, you can do it now & when you change your oil. All it will do is get it that much cleaner . As I said i do mine about every 2 months....it just keeps it cleaner.

Its not as harsh as a motor flush,so having it in the oil a little longer isn t so bad, providing the engine isn't gunked up, but if you're leary, dont.
