yeah i thought about guys like that and thats why i at least think i could off road.

well i got the bump shit and i can goto first but i have not high or low gears no.

another thing i have a problem with is provin to people that my jeep is and can be a 4x4 jeep. people think cuz its not a traditional jeep, its not a jeep. ive even shown them vids of all engine sized GC's goin off road from Moab to Bridgestone. still they have doubts. IDK...

i mean like a road cousre somethin like indy does. lol i mean its stock right now and it has good grip in corners as is, i figured if i put a nice dropped susp. on it with some good aeros and a couple of engine mods to give me a little boost then i could be murderin those ricers out ther no problem.

as far as the tracks for baja somethin mostly flat like some wide river bottoms or somethin like that.

I totally understand your buyers remorse. I got rid of my 03 limited with the 4.7 for a bone stock lorado with the same engine as you. I have looked around and have not found anything to boost power. Maybe one day I'll just do a powerplant change.

yeah you got a good point i remember readin somewhere that guys who own these trails we goto hate when the v8 guys come thru and tear up the trails cuz they wanna just see how fast they can get thru and they just end up givin the whole trail a facelift. i agree though the 3.7 should be perfect cuz its just enough to get me thru the trails but not too much to where im tearin the trail up.

Re: Second Thoughts

Can't have the best gas mileage and the most power. Gotta pick one (or a suitable give and take).

The road courses I track the 350Z on don't allow SUV's, no matter what mods are done to them.

Get a 5.7 HEMI Jeep and a 370Z - best of both worlds; otherwise, do some soul searching to figure out what you desire most, then arrive at a suitable compromise to suit your budget. Gotta pay to play.

Who said I was worried about gas mileage (if that was directed @ me) I get less than one MPG more in the v6 than I did in the v8

That sucks. I've had my xj on the heartland park topeka,ks track. Now its totally street 2wd,lowered,moded 4.0, 5spd, blah blah. I asked before goin up and was told as long as it had street tires they were ok............ now while the guys with the mini's,miata's, vipers, vette's,& camaros gave me the Rock "eyebrow" look, they were all cool....except for the guy with the 3000 gt.... maybe 'cause it took so long for him to pass me
