Used mine for about a week. I leave early and return late in the Winter, with mostly rural driving. It turns off the high beams below ~20 mph, like at stop signs.....just when I need it.

It was such a PITA, I turned it off. That was 4+ years ago. Auto setting and dimmer switch do everything I need.

Re: smart beam and auto dimming lights

I realize this is an old thread, but in case anyone was having problems with their auto high beams, the part # is 68231908AB. I had to have the camera replaced. Mine were not dimming when an oncoming car was approaching or when I was behind another car. The dealer was unfamiliar with the calibration steps I found in another thread here so they just replaced the sensor/camera. It's working as it should now.
