4low works great when you are stuck in the snow or deep mud

Re: So yeah I got stuck in the snow...

I was rocking it some, I was going to try 4 low but said screw it, if it was that bad in the parking spot I didnt want to lose traction and hit any cars on the street. I think the main problem was the snow under my tires melted during the day then turned to ice because I was driving it during the storm in over a foot of powder and it wass rolling fairly well. My problem is im trying to improve 1/4 mile times and we usually dont get too much snow maybe 4-6 inches here and there so I dindt want to go with anything too knobby that will effect my power or gas millage Im trying to find the right mix between something that will work well on the street and track but also handle the occasional snow in the winter till I can get a srt's for the nicer months and switch it up between summer and winter like some of you guys do.

Re: So yeah I got stuck in the snow...

I have to say with the Stock Sahara Wheels and Tires, With the Quadra-Drive II its a Winning Combo, I havent gotten stuck even when ive prolly pushed her more than i should have. My Gfs Laredo Was Stuck Just Like Urs, Tires Spinning Wouldnt move, i got out had her give it some gas, i gave the laredo a friendly push from behind and she was free and off but couldnt get no where near as far as i could travel with all the snow drifts and such.

That was your problem when you have deep snow, shut off the TC. When I had the 1st huge snow storm that I had in my car, we had 11 inches and I have a nice size grade up my driveway. I tried to drive up (from a dead stop and in sh*tty tires) and got stuck, then I shut off my TC and was able to get out of the rut with no problems and unlike the WKs, I can't shut my TC off all the way. Try that next time and I'm sure that you will find better results.

yes believe it or not but in deep snow or mud it is advised to shut off ESP!
