SRT8 Conversion Time! What First?!

Well I finally convinced and got the wife to agree on starting a conversion to give the jeep the srt8 look She doesn't care about the speed or balls behind it, and I really don't either we both just love the look

Now I know what all is needed and all that, but my question to you guys is where do I start!? There's so many things to get and start saving for, so what should I start with? I was thinking about starting with the black repo rims first, then get a hold of an srt8 exhaust and have that waiting around while i get the bumpers all sorted? I am not going to go all out like some other members and get the seats and gauges and all that, I just want the body style and look. I know I will probably be doing a major suspension overhaul as well, and I guess srt8 stock parts would also be the way to go?

Opinions please!

Re: SRT8 Conversion Time!

Instead of buying it all piece by piece, save all the money it would take to complete the conversion and then you'll think to yourself... "hmmm, I can use these thousands of dollars for a hefty down payment on a real SRT8 with the 6.1l"

But that would require waiting, so I doubt that'll happen, lol.

Check eBay for some of the body pieces... you can usually get some good deals there.
