SRT8 Strut Bar.

Where can i get one? Ive heard they are a bit pricy but i would like to get some engine mods done this summer before my jeep fund completely runs out and getting an SRT strut bar and doing some under hood painting is on that list.

Cant find them on ebay either and car-part is a no go too.

Re: SRT8 Strut Bar.

i saw one on eBay a long time ago..then when one finally showed back up i grabbed it..i love it, it looks soooooo nice compared to the crimped one. and it stiffens the body roll a tiny bit

Re: SRT8 Strut Bar.

What's the difference between the regular cross bar and the SRT8 cross bar? Looks?

Re: SRT8 Strut Bar.

I imagine the SRT8 strut bar is a little more stout and resistance to flex, than the regular bar, since it's not "squished" (like the regular; SRT8 is round all the way, I'm pretty sure). Perhaps it's slightly thicker wall tubing too, but not sure. If nothing else, sure looks a lot nicer!

Wow, so is that the part number (moparparts link) for the SRT8 bar? That is damn cheap and even I can afford to buy one, lol. Imagine it's black by default?

The regular cross bar is crimped in the middle for some strange unknown reason. the SRT8 bar is an uncrimped tube. It did make a tad bit of the body roll diminish and it does look a hell of alot nicer.

Re: SRT8 Strut Bar.

john is right, i almost bought one until i bumped into one for cheap.

IIRC the best i could find was a tad over 200 at the time.

Iand i can tell you the bars are like night and day. the srt8 one is a solid round tube and weighs a bit, the wk one is flimsy you could probably bend it.
