Steering rack ends

I have a bent steering rack rod that is the section between the rack and the tie rod like shown here.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2-RACK-TIE-RO...item2a0a9d8dd2
Does anyone know if there was any change in the later years as have a 08. The listing tends to indicate that there was? Any one know where I can buy this to suit a 08 and would it be any different for my RHD?

Re: Steering rack ends

I looked in 05 and 07 parts manual. neither one shows that inner tie rod as serviceable.

so is the rack the same...... ab to ad is revisions but usually same part

2005. wk

52089292AB

2007. wk

52089292AD

one retail dealer shows 07-09 as the SAME rack

went to rockauto,,,,huge online arts company.

05-6 they show a replacement inner, 08 they show NO INNER.

Re: Steering rack ends

Thanks for the information. Strange that rockauto shows no inner? Are they talking about the swivel joint on the end you think? As far as a I know, I only require the rod between that joint and the tie rod but don't know if it is removeable from that swivel joint of not?

Re: Steering rack ends

i just helped a bud on a magnum. that pic you had in ebay was what the stealer sold him as an INNER tie rod. that EXACT PICTURE. all of it.

then there is the end part that has the joint ; that is the tie rod end.
