Suspension with SPARE

Ok so i hit a potwhole this weekend and it bended my rim not to bad but its noticable the air on the tire is still good..So heres my question if i put one stock rim and the rest my 24" will the supension get ruined? the reason is because the rim will take about 2-3 days waht do you guys think??

I'm gonna say no. Don't do it. Your 24's are bigger overall than your stock 17's. It wouldn't mess with your suspension. It's your 4 wheel drive and tranny I would worry about. Park it for 2 days while it gets fixed.

Get some tires with some side walls and that wont happen. LOL J/K. I would do like you said and put the stock wheels on and wait it out.

I know if i take them off and go fix them i think im goign to color math the center with chrome lip mightest well wat do u guys think??....My 24 r 255/30/24 and the stock i belive 235/65/17

The stockers will be ~1" smaller OD (235/65-17 = 29.02" and 255/30-24 = 30.02")...That is theoretical and manufacturer's vary slightly from one another...If it were within a 1/2", I'd say you may be alright, but that is pushing it. I am assuming you have 4wd? If so, which one?

I wouldn't chance it, except if you have absolutely no choice and it's a very short drive. But, IMO, not worth it otherwise. Fwiw, the 'larger' oem spare (245/65-17) would bring you a little closer at ~29.54"...

If it's 2WD, then see if you can throw another spare (same size) on the same axle...That won't hurt anything.

If it's not full time 4x4 I wouldn't worry about it. Use the spare and just don't put it in 4wd.

yeah...if you do that then put the spare on the front, as I would imagine it would be RWD by default (assuming a p/t 4wd was available in wk?)

Of course, with different front wheels, your steering will be less than optimal

I see thanks alot all this is appriciated...the thing is that yes work is about 12 miles on the freeeway and back ...My jeep is a LAredo 4x4 my stocks are in the storage so i have to go in get all four then store these mean while...I was obviously trying to safe time on doing all that but it didnt not seem good to be driving with 3 wheels like that for the suspension let alone the transmisssion ..This is why i Luv this site!!! u guys know your stuff and those who lack the knowlwdge(me) lol i get to learn
