What brand of new tire did you get?

Yeah i was referring to the 305/70/17's (34'') having the Hemi really helps to rotate that size tire, good to know it fits the stock rim! might be my next size tire if all goes well.

Re: THE AEV Mojave Edition WK

Yea good call Acid. And you guys got the brand right, too. HIGHLY recommended. Between the already-stellar AWD/traction control system, and these tires, the damn thing will climb anything, and transitioning from asphalt to just about any other driving surface I've tried....you feel no transition. As long as you're giving it at least a little gas, the damn thing finds all the traction it needs. Phenomenal.

Oh definitely. I took mine out in the mud for the first time last weekend and was very impressed. It was that nasty sticky clay mud. I never stopped moving through it. Just point and shoot. I was able to climb up slippery trails that I would not have even tried in my XJ. I love this jeep.

Re: THE AEV Mojave Edition WK

Yes sir. Y'know that brings up an interesting point too. I asked a buddy of mine how he thought the Jeep system compared to say, Range Rovers, Mercedes G-wagons, etc. He says well their systems are more sophisticated in the sense that they managed ride-height, but the thing with those cars is, do you really want to take a $70-$100k vehicle off-roading?" My sentiments exactly. At the race track, the saying goes, "Don't put it on a track, if you can't afford to replace it." I'm sure there're a few guys out there that have that kinda budget where they could roll their Range and replace it but man, that's not me. Even if I had that kinda cash layin around, i still think its a tragedy to do something like that to a vehicle in that price range.

I mean to me, a Jeep is almost MADE to get a little roughed up.

Re: THE AEV Mojave Edition WK

omg! man, I have almost exactly the same "mod" done to the Mojave! Was late to work, pulled in the parking garage (yes it fits) pulled up to the same damn spot i park in every, but this time I the front right along the concrete pillar next to the spot. I. Was. PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSED. Then I showed my friend and he goes, "Whatever, now it looks like a truck." Totally turned me around. Might get it fixed but not in a huge rush. $1600 estimate. I'll post pics of mine in a few days.
