That's a perfect visual representation of corporate America. Someone with to much money and NO common sense taking something great and "fixing it" untill it's royaly F@&$ED up and an embarrassment to all that come in contact with it. If this thread were to give out an award for whomever had the best post, than Redpit you just won it. Extra credit award if you punched the owner of that purple piece of crap in the face. But hey that's just my oppinion

I can think of a socially unacceptable item, Reverse HID kits.

Can you think of a more unacceptable place to put them?

I love them and would like to place them in my Escape. If someone tries to tailgate me, I'll just light them up

Regardless, I always try to tell people it's retarded, yet to no avail. It would be cool for tail-gaters but why not just mount some Hella roof lights lol and use those on a switch.

For a few reasons. You have limited range when you mount it on the roof. The taillights is straight on in the eyes of the person behind you. Plus its way to obvious with the roof lights

I don't know, maybe I don't have a keen eye but were any of the auto execs rollin' on dubs when they went to the federal bailout hearings to get money to prevent the auto industry from collapsing?
