It waves at you all the time......its so friendly and...............arghhhhhh
Im having to spend more to fix this piece of crap than what I paid for it. I knew it had some paint issues from the previous owner...but I didnt know they were gonna have to pay for shotty work and crap quality assurance. Im having to pay an extra $200 to have all the waviness and crap fixed. Stay away from these hoods
Scott I don't have one but from what I've heard.......:worried: It's more for looks than anything. Obvious hood looks SICK!!! But IDK if that's your cup of tea.
i THINK they may have overused the mold. not sure. i had 2 hoods. the first one fit perfect but damaged in shipping. by the time i got the replacement, the fit went to shit......
ah....I have a good shop. They noticed them. there are waves all down the side of the scoop on both sides.......not to mention the gay ass fiber images logo.
Bwoody better make sure Fiber Images has its shit together or they wont sell 2.......
mine lines up great but it got a little wave but it doesnt bother me to much the body shop told me it might happen since they didnt use enought fiber glass.
I received Adam's CF hood, who lives in CA and had a SC jeep. He had the 3rd CF one made and it fit's pretty darn well. Only flaw is that it isn't straight, the gaps on each side are not even... (That was a problem with the mold, so they are all like that)
yeah Johnny my first one which was a early production did have the seams going wide to narrow....but it didnt have that mid fender bump that developed later on....
It was like all the others. A bit raised in the middle, and gap's weren't even.
Although, it didn't have all the waves like every one else. It was the one of the last hoods Paul sold through the company.
