Thinking about 2in lift and have a question

Looking at the RC 2in suspension lift/leveling kit. My question is can I keep the stock springs and shocks? Thanks ahead of time for your input

Yes. I'm looking at doing the same thing to mine, and I asked my cousin (who is a car expert) if that would be alright and he said of course, but if shocks are worn out then it would be a good idea to change those out while you get the lift put in. Will end up saving time and money.

Yes you can keep them in.. like the other guy said only if they are worn out would you replace them. Dont want to keep screwing with your suspension doing a little here and there. Will cost you alot more in the end than if you just did it all at once.

You can keep the springs and shocks, but id recommend a different lift as the rc lifts the front quite a bit more than the rear

Rc lift is a 2 inch leveling kit.. so 2 inch in the front and 1.5 inch in the rear to make it level. Stock WKs have a slight half inch rake.

Is anyone aware of a lift kit that keeps the factory rake? Maybe the OME lift, or the RRO?
Thanks.

Just installed RC 3.5 in front and 2 in the back. Everything is a ok. Alignment hasn't budged.

Nope, the kit is made that way so the vehicle is level. But if you look at the wheel well the front has more space than the back, and gives a better clearance for the front. But the vehicle is level. Note that if you get bigger tires you will need spacers 1.5".

I just did the 2" RC lift and my alignment was way off. Toe was off, camber, caster.

Are you saying you did not get it aligned after the 3.5"?

Re: Thinking about 2in lift and have a question

I finally had an alignment done on the 24th before a 14 hour trip, my mechanic brought me back to order when I got my spacers installed.
