Re: Thoughts???

I'm trying the suttle approach by just puting them their and not changing too much like the venom hood. People want an OE look but still be different so boom here we are.
Still voice your opinions either way I think Till's right it will look good either way!

Re: Thoughts???

The middle line goes all the way back to the ZJ hoods.. it's OEM as OEM gets so keep it if that's what you're going for!

Re: Thoughts???

My only concern is that by leaving the center recess, wont it just look like all that was done was put 2 stamped slots onto a stock hood to the untrained eye?

If its filled in, it will look stealth, but still way custom!

either way, like the others have said, it will be bad ass regardless of which route u take!

This is very true I'll have to think about this hard I'm kinda leaning towards filling it in but the only concern is it may not look as boxy if it's smoothed.

Re: Thoughts???

I dig it with the oem center....it keeps with the jeep character. Either way this is my favorite hood. Do you think a vortech would have a problem clearing this hood?

Re: Thoughts???

HUMM Dave good question I don't think a vortech will be a problem but I'll measure the clearance before I make the mold that way I can make the adjustments I need.
If anyone knows someone in NE are with a Vortech let them know I need their Jeep for measurements. I'll post up the results.

Are you getting a Vortech Dave???

In two weeks I have my fri little boy cam and american racing headers being installed. I'm planning on installing a ported intake myself. This is the first stage of my build.

Sometime in the next 6-12 months either a vortech or magnuson will be going on the beast. I know the maggie wouldn't have any problems but was just curious about the vortech unit.

I sold my motorcycles so that is my excuse/ticket to more heavily mod the jeep.
