Re: Tire size question

the reps diameter is 20"

255 vs 275, the latter will be a wider tire, 255 is a slimmer (side to side) tire but not by very much. the #45 is the aspect ratio of the height of the tire from rim to outside edge of the tire.

Re: Tire size question

^ yep
the 255-45-20 breaks down to:

255 = mm across-treadwidth

45 = percentage -or ratio-that sidewall is compared to tread(45% of the 255- this case 114.75 mm)

20 = rim diameter

Re: Tire size question

anyone got pics of the SRT8 rims on a non lowered overland? isnt there also a 22" option?

plus i thought the SRTs had staggered wheels, wider at the back? Guess that wouldnt work on a overland right? seeing as its drive is 50/50 and the SRT is 70/30 front rear? or am i talking crap?

Re: Tire size question

the real srt8s have staggered wheels. The reproduction ones you can buy to be all the same around. I think the real ones are 20x9 in the front 20x10 in the back. I'm gonna do 20x9 all around so I can rotate them and stuff. I've seen pics of the rims on non-lowered wks they dont look too out of place, looks a little cleaner if their lowered imo but im not gonna lower mine, would not survive a buffalo winter with a lowered wk.
