Re: Tire suggestions for a 2010 GC?

What do you do with your jeep? Mostly highway? Off-road? Snow? Towing?

I run General Grabber AT2 in size 245/70-17. I love them but my WK is our secondary vehicle and used for weekend outings and running errands in town. A bit noisy but really great off road and in snow.

I basically use it for general driving not any heavy off road really.
I understand there is a Michelin LTX M/S that might be a good choice but I will look at the Grabber...Thanks!!!

X2 on the grabbers. Its my daily driver and these are awesome tires. Great in all conditions especially snow. IMO not much louder than fortera's they replaced.

Fortera's are mediocre at best, so many better choices out there. Look into Cooper tires, best bang for the buck IMO. I went with their AT3, but if you just drive on road their all season SUV tires are also better than Forteras at a better price.

Firestone Destination LE2 has done very well for me so far. Break-away is very progressive and gives auditory feed-back, as well. Rain/Dry performance has been just fine.
