Top Windshield Weatherstrip

My 07 and 09 does not have a top weatherstrip for the windshield. I know they didn't come with it and the earlier WKs did. What is the part number for this weatherstrip piece? Where can i order it online? I checked justforjeeps but they dont have it.

Re: Top Windshield Weatherstrip

I don't have it and the wind noise is killing me on the highway. I hear it from the top of the windshield on the pass side.

Re: Top Windshield Weatherstrip

With my last 2 wks, my problem with noise is that I hear like pressure making the glass move. If I am explaining that right. It sounds weird like if the windshield is going to pop off.

Btw-Ryan arent you due for a new windshield soon? The overland's windshield was full of little pits when I was about to turn it in.

Re: Top Windshield Weatherstrip

I had the same problem on my commander, with that strip coming loose on a corner and flapping around in the wind. A little more adhesive from the glass company fixed it. I also had some weird wind noise/whistling in hot weather at right around 60mph. Wonder if that was it.

yeah but hell no.. unless my windshield gets completely smashed I'm not replacing it.. the rain sense makes for an expensive repair.

Re: Top Windshield Weatherstrip

well I was driving to work on Monday and some fawking county/city worker was weed-whacking a center median FULL OF ROCKS!!! There was NO grass anywhere!!!!!!!! Or weeds or anything green! SO PISSED!!! Luckily there was only a couple paint chips, but the windshiled has 10+ rock ships in it

Anyways, I am getting my windshiled replaced (hopefully paid by the city of Goleta) and I want to add this stip obove the windshield. So please, is it louder with the strip or not? It seems like @ 70mph plus my WS makes a lot of noise....thoughts?
