We could redesign the mount as a solid mount. Another approach is to use the existing mount and replace the rubber with hard polyurethane to almost give the performance of a solid mount.

I'd rather use a full solid with eurothane bushings. Mine are shot as I do race my jeep

This is why I need solid mounts. My exhaust never used to hit the cross member until a few months ago...

It looks like you do need a mount solid enough to prevent this. We do not have one ready but it can be developed given sufficient interest. Calling all fellow Jeepers, who is interested to use a solid mount? What is a fair price you'd be willing to pay for it?

I would pay 250$-300$ for a good set with polyeurothane bushings. Of course if the interest is there....

If not would you be willing to do a one off?

Re: Tough, custom made, heim jointed, Tie Rods

These look like a nice set of tie rods however my fear is they are too strong. Tie rods are supposed to bend if you hit carb, pothole, or another car to prevent the damage from being carried over to the rack, subframe, and frame avoiding a much more costly repair. These... Well they don't look like they will bend

Re: Tough, custom made, heim jointed, Tie Rods

These rods are stronger than the OEM because they are thicker. They, however, flex more than OEM due to the articulation soft the heim joints

Sorry hit the button too soon. I was saying the heim joints flex more than OEM, that gives the arms more freedom of motion and articulation angles. They are stronger than OEM by design. They are not going to deform upon impact as easily as OEM would, but upon impact, impact energy is likely to cause less harm to your Jeep if it is lifted compared to using OEM tie rods with a lift.
