Seems normal to me. I see only 50-100 rpm difference between 65-75 mph. [Mine has K&N drop-in air filter element.]
Dealer Service Manager once told me that the xmission does not necessariliy lock up when MDS is active. I do see the RPM's change +/- 50 rpm when MDS kicks in-and-out, if that helps. I had always assumed that the xmission locks up after 45-50 mph, but it might not be accurate for the HEMI with 545RFE xmission.
