Transmission Problems

I have no idea if I am posting in the right thread here but I really need some feedback! We have a 2009 JGC Overland. We were a part of the actuator recall on the 4 wheel drive. Worked great when they hooked up to comp and reset. Now about a week ago we felt it shifting into neutral again. Two nights ago after temps here dropped to the 10-17 degree level, all of a sudden our jeep put itself into 4th gear and is going in and out. Sometimes it is normal, sometimes it is stuck in 4th. We took it to dealership, they reset and it is still doing it. They told up comp hit for tranny solenoid issues. They want a crazy amount of money to replace tranny solenoid and do a tranny tune up since it is 111,000 miles. I am not going to pay that much unless it really is the problem. Is it possible it is just an electrical issue? The reason I ask is because my tire alert is saying we are low and according to tire gage we are not but it is cold and I know the sensors do not work correctly under cold conditions. Help!!!
