Tuner to turn off rear O2's

Can anyone tell me if I buy a tuner if there is one to turn off the rear O2 sensors? I'm getting codes P013a and P013c and would rather turn off the sensors then spend the money replacing both rear cats. Thanks!

Re: Tuner to turn off rear O2's

I answered my own question. Apparently that feature is no longer allowed on tuners without also getting a custom tune. So does anyone know of a good direct fit cat system to replace my cats that won't break the bank?

You don't need a full custom tune, most CMR tuners will do it for a very minimal fee, if not for free. If you can find a predator with an old firmware (9r.09 or earlier if I remember right), you can turn them off via the tuner yourself.

Too many mods to list for each, so let's just say a lot was done over the years.

I'm sure finding a predator with that firmware or older will be tough. I guess I will find a CMR tuner. Is there a list of them? I've been out of the tuning world for a few years and have never heard of a CMR tuner but I see them referenced a lot.

Also do you think turning off the rear O2's will GEF rid of the light for those codes?

Well I have tightened everything and replaced both O2's and the codes came back within three miles of driving. Constant clearing of them and they still come back. I may just buy a tuner and get someone to turn them off
