i had the boston base system which doesnt include an amp. so i dont know if setting up an amp via plug and play with work

you keep saying you have the wires but that it wont work, if you have the wires with the pin connectors on it then it is PnP. post a pic of what you have

hahah yeah that's what i figured. Anyone know how i can manually wire the amp or am i better off having an audio store do it?

the headunit and the front speakers i think, i have no clue about that stuff. i would have someone who knows about it do the work, shouldnt cost much. but with patience im sure you can do it alone?

Because of the integration into the vehicle CAN bus it would be difficult to add the factory amp/Kicker upgrade amp to a vehicle that did not come with it from the factory. You would be better off adding an aftermarket amp.
