Anyway, do you know what projectors did they use, and how did they wire them up? Factory switch for lows, external for highs and then factory highbeam trigger?

This just may be another option for some guys to look into the dual retrofit! Where did you say this place was located, somewhere upstate NY? How far out of the city?

* Also FWIW - I think you should do some LEDs for the DRL/Turns because of the loss of the reflector and the filament bulb just doesnt seem to cut it haha. That'd make these a lot sweeter, or even go with color changing ones! And get us some shots of these against a dark wall at night please thanks!
i had them install the 4th generation mini h1's...one of the first to have them installed *yay* lol. we chose to wire them up pretty straight up. solenoid wired to the high beam wiring...got a nifty h1 halogen adaptor so i didnt have to use any ground points. the pos and neg terminals are together. other than that theres not much to explain. like i said, pretty straight forward.

bfc is located in huntington new york...on long island not upstate. id be happy to be a middleman for anyone interested in a set. id deliver parts and such if im free that day and let you know how its going.

the turns are actually not as bad as they look. thats just during the day. planning on switch backs soon.

id be happy to get some shots too!

Re: v2 quad projector retrofit

i like them and all bro but I need to see that output compared to my Hella E55 full size projector before Im sold on any mini projecctors. i havent seen anything MINI yet that was equal to the E55 output/ part of the PROJECTION is the focal point and the lens/ the shorter that space the less is projected/

oh yeah.......since you are pimping your vendor.........HALF PRICE SALE at my house

other forums would delete that stuff/ a link is enough. offering to do MORE is too much even over here IMO/
over here the PRICE should take care of most of the looky-lews/

we have DC CUSTOMS Dan is a vendor and srt8 operator as well.

go post up that link of your vendor on RAMBIT's nest and lets have a countdown to how fast he deletes it/

Re: v2 quad projector retrofit

mini h1

e55

to me, now this is just to me, the minis have better width and intensity at the cutoff. the MB projectors have great intensity in the center by the step by they dim way too fast for me. thats all comparing the e55s with a clear lens, idk if you have it. i know the e55s have amazing high beams though. the minis are decent as well but i have 4 so its cool with me.

and, um, excuse me sir...where did i post a link to anywhere i had these done? other ppl started to ask where i had them done and the guys details. not me

and it is on the red site too. i guess i have special privileges hah

The only other projector I see that I like is the FX.

Re: v2 quad projector retrofit

I do like the overall look, but i'd like to see pics with sunlight on the front of the Jeep. I'd be worried that the black and dark blue may contrast a bit too much. Just picking nits i know but I love the work you've done, lol

Re: v2 quad projector retrofit

I love the lights, you did a great job, but the chrome ring needs to be smoked.

The bright chrome looks like a cheap ebay headlights.

If you smoked the rings, they would look MONEY on your jeep

Re: v2 quad projector retrofit

I wouldn't anything about them. They look good. Mini H1 and FX are the best aftermarket projectors.

Re: v2 quad projector retrofit

not in your opinion...in FACT hah but thanks. they are even better than a ton of OEMs with some tiny mods to them. people get crazy aggressive with modding them and make em look like s2000's.

and plug n play? are you joking? how easy do they have to make it for ppls decisions hah.
