Does anyone know how the weight of the srt8 wheel and tire compares to the weight of the chrome clad 17" wheels and tires?

edit:sorry for the stupid typo in the title

I weighed them awhile back and posted it somewhere. The difference is very minimal....

I will try to find it and post again.

^^ true that...BUT let's assume that there are no other variables...overall diameter of the 20" tire is close to stock 17"s (less than 3% lets say)...anyone know the exact weight difference? Either SRT's or reps will work, IIRC the reps are 1 pound heavier than the stock SRT's?

stock 17" w/goodyear SRa-60 pounds
rear SRT 20x10 w/nitto 420s-72 pounds

Im guessing the 20x9 with 255-45-20 Nitto 420s at 68-70

one 20x10 SRT wheel(oem) 32 pounds
one 20x9 SRT wheel oem-26 pounds

There ya are...weighed on a bathroom scale

thanks for the info scott

and according to tirerack the 245/65-17 sra is 32 lbs which puts the wheel at 28lbs.

have you ever heard of people running 20x9's on all 4 corners? if i go this route i think id like to have the 255's on all corners and that would be a little narrow for a 10" rim.

oh yes....there aare lots of guys running 20x9's all around. Its up to you bro. I like the 255-45 on 20x9s...but most guys do the 275-45
