Well I went up shooting on monday with my wife, my parents neighbor kid (the one that supplied the guns ha ha, hes 21 and likes things that go bang) also a kid he is mentoring with muscular distrophy. We took the jeep and it gave me an opportunity to get it a little dirty as I have been wanting to since I got it. The crappy toyo open countrys are a no go but they were on the car and just about new so they do what I need them to do.
I came up to this from the back side on an overgrown road I had to crawl up. The main road just wrapped around to the front, but that wouldnt be fun! I had one thing in my mind when I saw the tracks over it...
After a quick copilot change so my ride-along-photographer could snap some pictures of the event, he jumped out and assumed the position. meanwhile the wife wanted shotty lol.
Pichers suck for offroad stuff because this was really pretty steap, more so than these pictures do justice, but whatever, she did her job!
The trip down the back side was boarderline uncontrolled in a couple spots, it torqued the jeep and pulled a wheel way up off the ground and lifted pressure off the opposite corner which caused me to slide reguardless of what abs wanted to do.
This was actually the first thing I came across that I could drive up, and I was ITCHING to drive over something... ANYTHING! lol
now to the cap-a-bustin...
the wife and a .45 glock
Me and a coolerized Charles daily... my neighbor admitted he went out looking for something to make cool and bought the cheapest gun possible to accomplish this task ha ha.
and me with the ruger 10 22
During the shooting that was about 150 yards from the rock pile a lifted king ranch f150 with some big MT tires pulled up, watched us shoot for about 2 minutes, turned around, next thing I know I look back and see them attempting to climb over the mound ha ha. All he did was spin a big hole, back up and leave
