What do you guys think on these tires.

Trying to decide between the Revo Dueler A/T and the Firestone Destination A/T, the Destinations will save me like $100 bucks. Im planning to order them tonight, does anyone have any opinions on either?

UPDATE: Ordered some new Dueler A/T d695, they look the same as the Revos with a slightly less agressive tread pattern and the snow and mud rating is all 8+ so im pretty happy with what I see, I should have them next week. I think it will be a better tire for me since I lean more towards the street performance side of my Jeep and just need the occasional snow/mud handleing. I hope to have them put on by late next week. I saved like 50 bucks over the Revo's too. I think I might have regular valve stems put on this time, I have no luck with the TPMS ones and they cost a fortune.

Oh and is it worth saving 44 bucks going with
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....cleSearch=true

instead of

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....cleSearch=true

The only difference I see is the speed rating, I need to save every penny I can but I dont want to go with a much crappier tire over 40 bucks.

You get what you like, but since you asked for my opinion, I don't like either.

Why not? Im all ears for a cheaper tire that can handle the snow and everyday driving.

Re: What do you guys think on these tires.

Actually I can get Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors for about the same price from Tiresdirect with the free shipping so I might go that route they seem to be a better tire than the duelers in ratings and they are offering a 40 dollar rebate.

Just not my choice in tires. I guess like people would rather have a trail blazer over a Grand Cherokee, I would rather have a Cooper or Michelin than a Firestone/Bridgestone product. I have seen the Firestone/Bridgestone brand split, chunk, and seperate on our company vehicles. The best lasting tire we use is a Michelin LTX-MS. Not the cheapest tire though.

Pretty good design on those. I think they are actually snow tire branded too. They had a slight road noise on my F250, but nothing bad.

Re: What do you guys think on these tires.

I've got the Destination AT's and they are deceieving; looks like they would be rough and loud but they are very smooth and far better than the OEM Good Years. I bought the Good YEar Fortera Tripletreads after the OEM set wore out and the ride was so horrible I sold them off after about 10k mi. THe Destiantions really match the Jeep suspension and it feels much tighter yet absorbs bumps nicely; steering is far better and tighter too, but a little bit of whine at speed, and not that great in light snow, but great in deep snow and off road.

Re: What do you guys think on these tires.

i havent had any problems with my destinations in any depth of snow. they are amazing for how nice they ride but can still plow through the snow like nothing.
