What to Upgrade or Replace for front suspension...Advice

Hey guys whats up. So Im about to do my lift and install new Struts and shocks too. My brother drove the truck and said He felt slop in the steering. I been reading and searching on what I can do to fix this. And so far I found to replace these items... Is there anything else I should replace?

SRT8 SwayBars
swaybar Bushings
swaybar end links
Spring Isolators

And when using the SRT8 SwayBar in front, I saw some say it reduces Handling and isnt good for offroad use?? Is this true?? If so what would be a better recommendation? Thanks guys

I have a 2006 WK

SRT bars make it handle a LOT better, but it rides about 20 percent harsher and bouncier over rough roads. Offroad it is certainly best with the WK stockers, not the SRT's. Addco's are even worse. I am thinking of putting the stockers back on, and selling the SRT's, as our roads are so bad here in the rustbelt.

I would also replace the upper strut mounts in the front. They are metal and contain new rubber isolators since you can't just buy replacement isolators for the upper mount. I used Monroe's. Beach driving is pretty smooth compared to off roading in the woods, trails, so you are probably OK with SRT bars. Just use new stock WK endlinks, not the SRT ones. Rockauto has the best prices for them, I just ordered another set.

You can easily buy new isolators if you want but given my recent suspension uograde i also got new Monroe top strut mounts. Solid stuff and Pretty cheap too. I just figured that why not replace an easy part while doing my hole suspension.

Isolators themselves are cheap too around 10 to 14 bucks per front top and bottom. Then rears are around 8 bucks. Top and bottom are the same part number fyi.

Srt sways improve handling alot but since its more connected the ride will be a little rougher compared to the stock sways. If you are going off-road then then you should disconnect them anyways. Also if you do the front then do the rear sway too. Ment for being in pairs. You'll mess up your steering a bit if you dont. Me right now i have srt rear and still the stock in front. My jeep pulls after about 50 mphs to the right. Nothing major just a little annoying. You wont run into the problem i have since your sway bar brackets are the same as srts. They switched over to a ribbed design late 2005 which the srt sways need. Also i would get some energy suspension bushings too. Will further improve the upgrade to handling.
