What would happen...

..if I pulled the front drive shaft to run on a 2wd dyno? If i turned off the trac control it shouldnt care about the rears spinning,right? the closest awd is at a porche dealer 3hrs away, dont think they would want this there & a 2wd is down the street

I remember a while back a SRT 8,in some magazine ,pulled his to dyno it down in Memphis (?) for a fastest street car thing ,IIRC.... worked on the dyno(600 hp) ...but not @ the track

I've seen a couple videos of AWD SRT8s that pull the front drive shaft.. Not sure how bad it is

I think you have to remove the T-case motor too and you should be good.

RDP Motorsports left my driveshaft on and just pulled the transfer case motor and it worked. That said my transmission failed 1 week later. HE turned off tq management, so maybe the dyno had nothing to do with it

Any other experience's with this? I pulled mine to change the starter, and the front u-joint is nowhere near smooth. I'm thinking of taking it to a shop to see if they can put a different end on it so it can be changed like normal ones,but i have to be able to drive it. I'm thinking maybe pull the abs(or is it trac) fuse so it doesnt know... what do ya think??
