They make it for the 3.7 Liberty. I'm gonna go to a local shop that deals in MBRP and see what they'll charge to use the components from that Liberty set up on the GC.

Re: Where do I start

Thats a loaded question. First is do you want the offroad look or a sport look? Im assuming you wont be doing much offroad with a 2 wheel drive, but doesnt mean you cant make it look like a beast. I like the "SRT8" look, so went with that, did all my mods so far just looking on ebay buying things cheap as they came. I think the best "looking" things I have done are the rims and ground effects, though no srt front and rear bumpers as of yet. The srt dual exahust looks cool to IMO I have on now. Performance for a 3.7, which I have, the CAI and catback exhaust will def make an improvement in exhaust note and pick-up. One thing I wish i did alot earlier was get HID low beams and fogs, what an improvement in night driving. Search around the threads, tons of info you can use.

Re: Where do I start

I've heard that the 3.7 doesn't really need a cat-back system, only a muffler, because the stock size is already as big as needed. Is this true? If not what size of diameter is best. I was just going to take it in to the exhaust shop and have them use the components of a 3.7 Liberty MBRP exhaust and put them inline on the Stock Exhaust.

Someone on JU has a full 3" catback exhaust from Gibson on a 3.7 and he says he did not loose any power according to his butt dyno.

Just a shorter antenna, its cheap and improves the looks of the car and it takes about 15 seconds to install. I think my 12in plastic shorty made the Jeep look a lot sportier vs. the big metal one they come with from the factory.

Re: Where do I start

Marbs - I know that this post is a little late, but I have a 05 3.7L GC with a custom muffler and tip from Lous Custom Exhaust. Its not anywhere near you, but just wanted to say it is a great sound. Pretty loud and pretty low tone when on the gas. Im thoroughly impressed with a muffler and tip that only cost me 180.
