I'm a new member and just have minimal competency/skill but wanna save a few $. Sorry if this has been discussed before... looked back a few pages of posts... I know its there...but its not on the oil filler housing like the WJ--can't tell location by the parts diagram....thanks
On my 06 4.7L it is right rear on the drivers side of the engine bay. I have not replaced mine yet but I am going to next week since i have over 60k miles for the heck of it. In the picture below it is the little jobber with the light blue ring on it. It is a screw-in pcv.

mine is not on the neck either, it has a tube that connects to the neck though. makes sense if it was a mid year change, i have an early MY and have many 05 parts.
Yes i am sure. There were some changes on this motor. Besides, I have a picture of the emissions diagram from the hood that all vehicles have. My picture below shows one possible location for the PCV depending on what revision an owner has.
I had my Jeep at the dealer getting some warranty work completed and just because it was there, I had them replace the PCV. They showed me that it was just screwed right in, but they had a very large socket that fit over it and were able to take it out. It seems like a simple replacement otherwise had i done it myself and saved 20 bucks.
