I was a little surprised how many people didn't care about their steering wheels, so I figured while I was on a role, I'd post one more poll...

Do you prefer knob A/C units or button A/C units? The advantage to knobs is that you can adjust the A/C quicker. The advantage to buttons is that it looks nicer?

I had to get it out of the way now though... while the other post was still current. If I posted this in 6 months, it'd be deja vu galore. Also, I was going to add the slider, but those didn't have dual climate control, so I figured I'd just leave "other" as the option for that :\

i voted 'i dont care'.

As far as I am concerned i am not making buying decisions on how many spokes a steering wheel has. It doesnt matter to me how the HVAC works so long as it does. THese are NOT buying criteria ME or for the majority of the general public. you are getting back to your 99th percentile stuff IMO. What levbel has your OCD been classified as??

now a question like 'do I prefer seats in my Jeep' or 'would you like a motor with that Jeep' or 'do you prefer to have glass in the holes in the door' now i might care.

GL with your polls.

every page costs members some of their donated support money so the next poll might be whether to restrict your priveleges here at the garage.....

Then why bother buying a jeep if that's all you care about?

I'm asking a simple question and I clearly stated this was my last poll. You're the one wasting bw on your useless responses to my threads... while at the same time, bumping them back to the top.

Knobs... Much easier and quicker.

In my dads cadillac, it'll take you 20 seconds to move it from 65 to 90 degrees. Annoying!!

That's my feeling on the matter. I live in Florida and our winter seasons have nights in the 40's and day's in the 90's. So during the winter, you constantly have to adjust it back and forth. I had an 03 330Ci that moved 1 degree per second and it sounds like what your dad's dealing with. I'm curious if the technology has improved on the newer vehicles to where if you hold the button down, it'll go faster.

To be frank I find my WK climate control so efficient and discreet I never move any settings.
I found the temp I like, have it on auto low, and have never moved it since.
Superb!

Normal aircon however, I'd choose a slide or rotary dial. But the images shown are full climate, so it's a mute point for me :)
