I found it a lot of help looking at photos, and peoples HID's in person. Its not practically "useless".
Research is needed yes, but is that not with the OP is doing??
Not everyone needs to do a retrofit. Not everyone can afford it, let alone have the intelligence.
.....ughhh, it was so nice before.......
Kudos to you for reading the domain name and knowing all of the info provided in the link I posted. Maybe if you weren't such an idiot, you'd have clicked the link and learned something.
You can't look at pics of people's lights without background info because you don't know how many hours are on their bulbs and you don't know how long the headlights were turned on for before the pic was taken. Since you can't understand text, I made it simple for you. Here's a picture of two 4300k's with about 8 hours on them. The one on the right was already warmed up. The one on the left was just turned on.
This is why background info is needed. In addition to how long the headlights were on, you need to know how many hours are on them. If you'd read the link I posted, you'd see that HIDs reach their max output at 200 hours and after 2000 hours, they start to fade. When they fade, the k value increases and thus, makes them appear more blue. If people are posting pictures of their lights and have 4000 hours on a set of 5000k's, then it's not going to help the op much without that background info.
