Just picked up a 2006 Limited 5.7 HEMI with QDII 4x4 and it has 110,000 miles on it. I bought it because I love Grand Cherokees but didn't want to put a ton of miles on the SRT daily driving it to work. The guy I bought it from took really good care of it and had all maintenance records and receipts which was awesome. I just put new tires on it (stock size) and I really like it as a daily driver -- I might keep this one forever!
Also I got really lucky he has a bumper to bumper Chrysler "Maximum Care" warranty with like 2 years left on it and unlimited mileage. I just transferred it to myself for a $50 fee.
Hey guys. New here to the forum. I have over 143k on my 05 WK. By far been the most consistent and toughest vehicle I've had. Been in two wrecks and never even felt it other than my insurance of course. It's time for some overhauls though.
08 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6 loaded with Sunroof leather seats, Boston acoustic sound, etc...had 240,599 miles up until 3 weeks ago when I traded it in for a 2014 JGC Overland.
That Jeep had gone through so much, I don't know where to begin. Just to highlight it's been in a fender bender, hit a big deer going 55mph, some guy high off synthetic marijuana crashed into the rear, the original windshield took a huge rock and was completely cracked, and just the crazy amount of abuse it took for all the things we used it for. Plus It's first 18k miles where put on by random ppl as it was a rental vehicle. I bought it in Feb of 2009 for $15,800 plus TTL ($17,001) and it was a trouble free car even with the minimal up keep I did to it. Btw it was a clean title vehicle no salvage or accident, I just got a killer deal on it. The rear differential fluid was changed once at 50k miles, I had the brake pads replaced once at 180k. Yes the originals lasted that long. It did however go through 4 sets of tires in the time I owned it, 3 sets of wiper blades, 2 batteries, and full synthetic oil changes every month and a half. All I can say is these jeeps are built to last. I'm hoping I can get the same if not better reliability with my 14 as I did with my 08 and 98 JGC's. Never once did my 08 Jeep fail to start. Always got me to my destination without a problem. God I miss it already. Still got 2k for it at trade in! So I was happy.
170k on my '08 WK. I've been through four cat converters, 3 radiators, a new PCM, and a few suspension items. Lifetime bumper to bumper has been my best friend. Don't know why my jeep eats cat converters.
I'll be upgrading to an '18 in a few months. I was hoping to make 200k but I can't fight he itch any longer.
Just hit 194,500 on a 2007 3.7. Good to see others hit the 200k mark and take it higher. Wife wants to use her as a trade in........think shes better off a winter beater. Been a good vehicle, owned it since around 25,000.
Original owner. No major repairs. A few electrical gremlins but took care of them over time except one. Oil and filter gets changed at never more than 5K miles, mostly less. Other fluids get changed regularly too.
All maintenance and most repairs done by me. I still enjoy driving it daily. I plan to keep it as long as it stays reliable and looks good.
