Can I presume they went on without having to modify anything?

ps did they affect MPG?
No mods or spacers necessary. Have them mounted, balanced and enjoy them. Worlds better than the stock Goodyears. Very slight MPG difference. Around 1 or less. A bit noisier than the stock ones but not loud at all.

Have already got the tyres and so far am very pleased

Coincided with a big dump of snow over the UK so my timing was perfect

Don't notice any extra noise, but MPG is down about 1 mpg maybe a little more

cheers

Something I've always wondered. How do you respond to "cheers"? I worked in a hotel and occationally I'd have someone say "cheers" to me and do I say "you're welcome", do I say "cheers" back, what? I'm sure they thought I was rude or didn't speak english b/c I'd just smile and nod.

A smile and a nod will do just fine, cheers is used in the UK as a way of saying thanks without actually having to say thanks. I am not really sure why we do it over here but we are all at it.

Re: Will 265/65 R17 tyres fit a WK

I think the term "cheers" originates from drinking (alcohol) when the phrase is used to start drinking

Its migrated into general use and is another way of saying thanks

Its not just the Atlantic that separates the USA from the UK
