lol yeah but where is the fun in that. if i did it my self id have more pride in it when i tear up the trails and it stands up to what i put up against it.

the only problem I see with doing something behind the grill is there is its too high above any legit structure. instead of pulling ON a frame rail you would be twisting the frame rail down... It would take so much metal and structure to make it as useful as something mounted between the frame rails that you would end up adding 150lbs of steel just to make sure it would hold.

Theoretically Yes. Could side members twist if we pull vehicle over standard towing points? IMO, improbable, if we apply the mind during recovery. The same thing with a winch. BTW, I saw TLC100s with broken frames during an unhappy recovery.
