Wiring harness install

So I've found out that those light bars that a lot of people put on their trucks will fit in a little space where the trunk closes. I don't have a trailer hitch so I need to put in a trailer wiring harness to plug the light bar into. I have a harness that I need to hard wire into lights and I need some help (pictures, wiring diagrams, anything!)

Re: Wiring harness install

i gave you a link where you can find all that info. look up and click.

if you expect us to go get the info for you

then i need your model year, trim level, etc. I guess since you posted in the WK area you have that. What Year? Is it an export model?

Yea I appreciate the link and I looked on it just wasn't really sure I I was lookin at the right thing. I just want to make sure that I have all of the wiring right before I start splicing things. It's a 2005 Laredo

Re: Wiring harness install

so you have an 8 pin connector plugged into the tail light. not sure what you want to hook that bar up to but here are all the wires........

1 L50 18WT/TN BRAKE LAMP SWITCH OUTPUT
2 empty
3 empty
4 empty
5 L778 20WT/DB FUSED PARK LAMP RELAY OUTPUT

6 L1 18WT/LG BACK-UP LAMP FEED

7 L62 18WT/OR RIGHT REAR TURN SIGNAL CONTROL

8 Z918 16BK GROUND

so first off one row of 4 will only have one wire, #1, should be wht/tan thats brake lights.

next row is:
park lamp white/dark brown
Reverse white/light green
right turn signal ismwhite orange
black is ground.
