Wk 3.7 mpg tips/mods?

Hey guys, im looking to improve my mpg in my 06 wk 3.7.
It has 66k on it and i average 17.8 mostly highway, driving like a granny.

i changed all fluids with amzoil about 3k ago. Changed the pcv, and went with bosch iridium plugs. Besides that i have 2014 rubicon take offs, ome lift and a hypertech tuner.

I am looking at the airaid cai, and heard about an aftermarket tb that some guy makes, but im not sure if the $ is worth it.

I just want some input regarding other maintenance or modifications that will boost my mpg to the 20's if possible. Please leave some feedback/advice! Thanks!!

Given that you have a 3.7 and a roughly 3 inch lift.. 18 isnt bad with you having to push those heavier tires and rims.

Ummm to my knowledge you will never see 20 mpg unless you want to mess with your gearing or more expensive engine mods.. air intakes and throttle bodies won't do much for your mpg either.

This is just my 2 cents and i have a 05 hemi so no real expert on the 3.7s.. getting 18 to me right now is great so good luck man!

Lucky sob that your state is allowing it haha.. so i dont even remember replying to this thread sorry man.

A whole new less restricted exhaust would help alot.. tuner would do you good and a new air intake would help too. Your 3.7 won't get as good as jeffs mpg cause of the lift but should bring you into the low 20s with the granny driving on long drives.
