WK Magnaflow Cat Back

I just thought I would pass this on if its ok. If it gets deleted, Sorry!

I recently got a stainless Magnaflow cat back for my 05 5.7L WK for a pretty good price and thought I should pass it on to others. I thought the price was too good to be true, so I waited till I got it.

It came pretty quick and packaged very well. No strings attached I got it for $475 shipped to my door! The lowest price I found them for online was $575 plus shipping....Or $606 free shipping.

Here is the link, hope its ok to post it.

I've been thinking about that exhaust. have you already installed it? for that price I worry about it being a defective kit or something like that.

Re: WK Magnaflow Cat Back

I ordered mine from performancepeddler.com - $380 shipped. Haven't had an issue with it and it was not a defect. Nothing wrong with shopping around for a deal

I have cash, they have parts. If they want my cash enough, the parts will get cheaper

Re: WK Magnaflow Cat Back

Use coupon code "bestoffer4" - it's not $380 shipped like I got but it's $434 shipped now - checked code this morning.

I'm just passing along the deal to a fellow Jeeper.

Re: WK Magnaflow Cat Back

Its installed! It looks great, nice deep tone. It really isnt as loud as I thought it would be. At highway speeds, you cant even hear it. When you step on it, it wakes up and has a nice rumble.

Like I said, no strings attached. It came within 1 week, packaged very nice. The tip, muffler, and resonater were wrapped in bubble wrap. It was in perfect condition. It was shipped via Fedex and they even sent me tracking info. It did take them 3 days to get a confirmation and tracking to me. I am almost positive they drop ship these.

I'll be honest. I thought I was going to get screwed or the order was going to be canceled. I'm glad I was wrong. I paid through paypal so just in case there was a problem, I could dispute through my bank as well as paypal.

Re: WK Magnaflow Cat Back

What size pipe does it use? I though the magnaflow is 2.5" which is smaller than factory. Just wondering. I think the Gibson is one of the only ones that is SS and steps up to 3".

Nice find on the prices BTW!!

I'll be honest, I didnt really pay attention to what size it was when I put it on. The site says its 3"

Actually the coupon code I used has since expired, so no $$$ for me . I found the "bestoffer4" code on another forum and passed it on.

I've had my Magnaflow on for about a year and have been happy. I clean the exhaust tip a few times a summer with some WD40 and it still looks like new.

Re: WK Magnaflow Cat Back

I went with the 18in muffler and put it on my stock exhaust. I think the catback comes with a 22in? I was going to go with the catback but I heard the pipe is the same size? Does anyone know if this is true? If it was 3in I would have went with it. I think stock is 2.5 or 2.75 for the 4.7
